All editing is about getting good edits to "stick" and making bad edits to go away.
A good edit can be any of the following:
The "good"ness of an edit has nothing to do with approving or agreeing with the content being edited. Often a very good edit is one that makes a very unpopular position more understandable to those who disagree.

- adds relevant and necessary information to a page.
- organizes content to make it shorter, easier to read, or more clearly organized.
- one which corrects a spelling or grammar error
- one which adds links to relevant pages.
- reorganizes or refactors a page according to wiki best practices
- removes a bad edit
