Finishing installation of multilingual terminology profile
Congratulations. You are almost ready to set your users free to do collaborative multilingual terminology on this site. However, you still need to carry out a few configuration operations.
Instructions have been put at the bottom of the
Collaborative Terminology admin page (see
Finalizing profile installation section) which will allow you to complete the configuration, at which point you may want to delete the text which precedes.

This site is configured to support collaborative multilingual terminology work. If this is your first visit here, you must first
Register and Set your Languages
Search for a termterm's language.
- Also, you need to re-enter the term on the first line of the entry.
Creating an equivalent for a term in a different language
If you find a term in a given source language, but see that it does not have an equivalent in a given target language, you can create the equivalent as follows:
- Go to the term in the source language.
- Click on the Translate button below the term in the source language.
- Select the target language in the picklist labelled Language of newly translated page.
- Enter the term in target language in the field labeled Name of newly translated page.
- Click on the Create translation button.
- Remove the Translation in progress notice.
- Re-Type the term in target language on the first line, preceded by an exclamation mark. You may also type a short definition below that.
- Click on Complete translation.

- For your convenience, and in order to allow you to play around with the system, this site was pre-seeded with a few English-French terms about wikis. Click the above link for a list of those terms.
