History: Using Profiles for bug reports

For developers to be efficient to solve a bug, they need to be able to reproduce the bug on their environment. Otherwise, you get the "it works for me" answer.

The bug report should be:
  1. Install profile X
    • Find/create/enhance a profile which has sample data and a configuration.
  2. Go to URL Y
  3. Attempt action Z

So by using profiles, two people with different setups are trying the same thing.
